About

I am an Economist in the World Bank's Development Impact Evaluation Department (DIME). I completed my PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and also studied at Johns Hopkins' School of Advanced International Studies as well as Wesleyan University. Previously I was a Research Fellow at IFPRI. I'm also very proud to have served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger from 2006-08.

I work on a wide range of topics including (but definitely not limited to) financial inclusion and financial management strategies of the poor, agriculture, gender (fertility choices, labor participation, and marriage markets), and digital development (connectivity, identification, high-impact services).Â
